Accessibility

This site is built to be usable by everyone.

Norfield Associates wants every insurance professional to be able to assign a claim and reach the right person, whatever technology they use. Last updated September 25, 2026.

Standard

norfieldassociates.com is designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Automated checks and manual keyboard and screen-reader review were part of the site's launch process.

What that means in practice

  • Every page can be navigated and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator. A "Skip to content" link is the first item on every page.
  • Text and interface colors meet or exceed the required contrast ratios, and the site remains readable at 200% zoom and on narrow screens.
  • The interactive territory map can be operated by mouse, touch or keyboard, and the same information is provided as a plain text list.
  • Form fields have visible labels, clear error messages announced to assistive technology, and no time limits.
  • Animation is brief and decorative. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that preference and shows the same content without movement.
  • Images that convey information have text alternatives; decorative illustrations are hidden from assistive technology.

If something is in your way

If any part of this site is difficult to use, you do not need to use it: a claim can be assigned by e-mail to claims@norfieldassociates.com, by telephone at (877) 293-4682 (answered 24 hours a day), or by fax to 978-279-1069. Please also tell us what went wrong so we can fix it — e-mail claims@norfieldassociates.com with the page address and a short description.

Known limitations

The state coverage maps and town indexes on the Territories and Resources pages are scanned images supplied as JPG files; their contents are not available as text. The coverage and billing-city information they contain is provided in text form on the Territories page, and our staff can answer any question about coverage by telephone or e-mail.
